In the footsteps of Nicaraguan history
The journey continues to Leon, a colonial town steeped in history and culture. On the way, you’ll pass through the El Tisey nature reserve, the community of « La Garnarxa » and the slopes of the Cerro Negro volcano, a motorcycle ride lasting around 5.5 hours. In Leon, you can explore the cobbled streets, visit historic sites and soak up the lively atmosphere of this fascinating city.
Head for paradise beaches
The highlight of any motorcycle trip to Nicaragua is undoubtedly a ride along the sandy beaches of El Transito. Preparation and formalities
However, before embarking on this adventure, there are a few practical details to consider. First of all, it’s imperative to have a driver’s license, as driving requires a certain amount of experience. Gasoline and compulsory insurance are included in the rental price, but it’s important to note that this does not cover participants’ own damage, nor damage to the motorcycle in the event of total or partial theft. Helmets will also be provided to ensure your safety on the road. However, a security deposit of 500 USD per group is required prior to departure. Participants are also responsible for the cost of any medical services or transport that may be required. It is therefore recommended that participants take out medical insurance.
