Arrival at the international airport and departure for Granada.Free time to explore GranadaWe suggest you discover this colonial jewel on foot or by horse-drawn carriage. You can visit the Cathedral, the La Merced church and the Xalteva church, around which the city of Granada was originally built. You can climb the tower of the La Merced church to get a bird’s eye view of the city and the lake. Then, we invite you to immerse yourself in the central market and its colorful stalls. In the late afternoon, we suggest you take a seat on the main street La Calzada to watch the pink tones of the late-day sky and see the street begin to come alive. Overnight in Granada.

The volcano is made up of four volcanic craters, the highest of which rises to 1,345 m. Let’s go for a walk in the heart of this atypical ecosystem! Nearly 150 species of orchid, 50 types of mammal and 120 species of butterfly have been recorded here, and you’ll also visit a museum depicting the volcano’s major telluric events. Sailing in the heart of las isletas de Granada
Discovering Las IsletasHalf-day trip to discover the Las Isletas archipelago, a group of islands off the coast of Granada. You’ll set off by boat to sail between these islets, where today’s Nicaraguans have established their vacation homes. There are almost 400 basaltic islands, and you’re sure to enjoy excellent views of the proud Mombacho volcano, as well as numerous animal sightings.Free time to discover MasayaOn the way, take the opportunity to stop off in Masaya to discover this small town renowned for its handicrafts market. Continuing eastwards, you’ll pass through the pleasant Julio Cesar Central Park and come across many producers of Nicaraguan hammocks, which are then sold all over the country.Discover the Masaya volcano by night!With its 54km² and 20km of wilderness trails, the Masaya Volcano National Park is a place that will give you another view of what goes on beneath the earth’s crust. With its five craters, Masaya, called Popogatepe by the indigenous Nahuált, is the most accessible active volcano in the world. The tour consists of discovering it at dusk to enjoy the sunset, the lava lake and the observation of the local fauna: parrots and bats among others. You’ll drive up to the crater to enjoy the view. Great crossing & exploration of the Rio San Juan
Morning departure from Granada to San Carlos, the last port on Lake Nicaragua at the mouth of the Rio San Juan leading to the Caribbean coast. You’ll pass through several small villages such as Juigalpa, Villa Sandino…land of the sabaneros, the Central American cowboys you’ll meet on their horses. You’ll then arrive in San Carlos, where you’ll enjoy the view of the lake. Transfer from San Carlos to El Castillo by boat. Discover the Solentiname archipelago
you’ll leave from the small village of El Castillo and travel by boat to the town of San Carlos.Los Guatuzos Nature Reserve and Solentiname archipelago.This morning, you’ll set off for a full day’s exploration of the Solentiname islands. You’ll start your visit on the island of Mancarron, known for its small church and park, and famous for its museum recounting the history of the archipelago. You’ll then move on to the small monkey island, before heading for Isla San Fernando and Isla La Venada, famous for its painters and colorful naive art. Before spending the night in the middle of nature, you’ll enjoy a sumptuous sunset over these islands. Night in the Solentiname Islands
Exploring the Guatuzos reserve
You’ll set off at first light towards the Los Guatuzos reserve, located on the southern shores of Lake Nicaragua on the border with Costa Rica. You’ll spend the morning discovering this 430km² haven of life, home to many different types of ecosystem. Accompanied by your guide, you’ll discover incredible flora and fauna on foot and by boat: monkeys, crocodiles, turtles, toucans, iguanas, orchids and trees typical of the primary forest. From the Guatuzos reserve, you’ll take a boat to the shore at the small port of the town of Colon. You’ll arrive at the small port in the village of Colón and transfer to Peñas Blancas. Pick up your rental car and drive to the port of San Jorge, Rivas to take the ferry to Moyogalpa on the island of Ometepe. Overnight on the island of Ometepe in a private room and dinner with the locals.
Horseback riding at Cascade San Ramon

Kayak exploration followed by a cooking class
Kayaking on the Rio IstianYour guide will take you kayaking on the Rio Istian, a unique ecosystem located between the island’s two volcanoes. You’ll start your boat trip on Nicaragua’s largest lake to observe the various properties lining the shoreline. Next, you’ll board your kayak to approach the isthmus and enter a small stream of lush vegetation. In this mangrove, you’ll be able to admire many birds, caimans and monkeys. On the way back, you’ll be surrounded by two majestic volcanoes and enjoy a panoramic view of the lake.Local cooking classA unique moment of sharing during your stay in the Puesta del Sol community, made up of over 17 families. Hiking on the Maderas volcano
Mirador Maderas volcano hikeAccompanied by an experienced hiker, you’ll set off along the slopes of the Maderas volcano towards a mirador offering one of the best views on the island. You’ll pass through different types of vegetation, from the beige of the dry plain dotted with black volcanic rock, to the green of the banana plantations on the higher ground. Once you’ve reached the mirador, if the weather is clear, you’ll have the chance to take in the spectacular view of the 8 shape of the island of Ometepe, and a breathtaking view of the cone of the Concepcion volcano just opposite.

Relaxation at Laguna de Apoyo
Drive to the port of Moyogalpa and board the ferry to San Jorge, Rivas. Once on land, drive to the Laguna de Apoyo. Discover the Pueblos Blancos, small villages around Masaya renowned for their handicrafts. From pottery to leatherwork to hammocks, the colors of local craftsmanship will fill your eyes! Wander between Catarina and San Juan de Oriente and take a look at these little stores, often set up on the porches of houses. At the end of the day, you’re free to enjoy the Laguna de Apoyo, an ancient volcanic crater now filled with fresh water. You can choose to hike, swim, kayak or simply relax in this enchanting setting. Overnight on the shores of the Laguna de Apoyo.
